RENAULT RACING SHOES 5
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the R5 car, Renault commissioned the creation of the Racing Shoe 5. In collaboration with Prodigious and Publicis Groupe, we designed and brought to life the visuals for its exclusive global release.
The shoe itself was beautifully designed in harmony with the classic R5 Turbo Car. All the iconic elements were incorporated into the footwear; the car chassis shape and the infamous side vents are visible on the exterior. And the insole's material matches the R5’s interior with its laces replicating seat belts.
We created an action packed film with explosive transitions to showcase each element beautifully. The car breaks apart into a flowing harmony of materials with pieces moulding together gracefully to form the shoe.
